When I began this program in 2024, I was searching for a way to express emotions that felt beyond reach—a personal challenge that ultimately shaped this body of work into a representation of a single, fragile moment in time. Through this process, my practice ceased seeking to comfort the audience or offer a simplified, decorative celebration of identity. Instead, it became a site of raw material truth and physical resistance.
